  1. Mix olive oil, ground pepper, steak seasoning, garlic and lemon juice in a mixing bowl.
  2. Remove excess fat and silver skin from backstrap.
  3. Place backstrap into mixing bowl with the other ingredients and rub thoroughly.
  4. Let the backstrap marinade for 30 minutes.
  5. Grill Backstrap for 15 to 20 minutes (or until it has cooked to your liking), venison taste better when cooked medium rare.
  6. Remove backstrap from grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve with garden vegetables or a side salad.
