Instructions
  1. Finely Chop the onion.
  2. Add olive oil to a saucepan on medium heat.
  3. Brown onion in a saucepan.
  4. Add ground venison meat to the saucepan and lightly brown, at this point you can add a little bit of salt and pepper.
  5. Add beef stock and wait for it to come to a boil and add the Worcestershire sauce, tomatoes, garlic, rosemary, thyme, tomato puree, and parmesan cheese. Stir contents together and turn down the heat and let it simmer gently for 45 min.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook the dried spaghetti in salted water as instructed on the packet.
  8. Garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese. (Optional)
Recipe Notes

If you don’t have fresh herbs, they can easily be substituted with dried herbs.

 

The bolognese sauce can be prepared in advance and frozen. and will be perfectly fine in the freezer for up to 2 months.
